My name is Ché London founder and CEO of Already Rich Entertainment, I just want to use this moment to take you through my personal journey in the music industry so you can understand who I am, what drives me, and why I’m so passionate about helping independent musicians like you succeed. My journey has been shaped by over two decades of experience, a relentless pursuit of knowledge, and a commitment to always putting people first. It hasn’t always been easy, but everything I’ve learned has been driven by my faith, my love for music, and a deep desire to help others avoid the pitfalls I’ve witnessed throughout my career.

 

As a musician and a music industry professional with over two decades of experience, I’ve lived through many chapters of this ever-evolving world, facing its challenges, triumphs, and its darker corners. I’ve learned invaluable lessons, and I’ve made it my mission to help independent artists like you navigate this dynamic and sometimes intimidating industry with the right tools, wisdom, and integrity. Let me take you through my journey and share with you what has shaped me into the person I am today and why I am so passionate about giving back to musicians like you.

Music has always been the heartbeat of my life. From a young age, I was drawn to its power to connect, inspire, and heal. But I didn’t just want to be a part of it; I wanted to understand every angle of the music world how it works, what makes it tick, and, most importantly, how to help others succeed within it.

I spent years cultivating my craft, first as a student of music, and then as someone who was actively seeking to make a name for himself in the business side of the industry. After years of self-study and hands-on experience, I knew I needed to get formal education to sharpen my skills and gain the credentials that would allow me to truly thrive.

My story begins in New Haven, Connecticut, where I first decided to pursue a career in the music business. Like many musicians, I had the talent and the passion, but I knew that to truly succeed, I needed a solid foundation in the industry’s ins and outs. So, I made a life-changing decision: I packed up and drove across the country to Gilbert, Arizona, to enroll at the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences.

 

At the time, it was a bold move a leap of faith that required stepping out of my comfort zone and trusting the process. I focused on mastering the intricacies of Audio Business and Master Recording, two areas that would shape the rest of my career. I dedicated myself to the work, and the results spoke for themselves: I graduated at the top of my class, equipped with a wealth of knowledge and a new sense of purpose.

Graduating at the top of my class opened doors I never imagined. One of the most life-changing opportunities was landing a position at Westlake Recording Studios in Hollywood, California a place known for its legendary recordings, including albums by Michael Jackson and countless other iconic artists.

​

At Westlake, I had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented engineers, producers, and musicians in the world. I learned more than just the technical skills of audio engineering I gained an inside view of the industry’s high stakes and the relationships that drive success. I saw firsthand how the music business operates at the highest levels, but I also witnessed the darker side of the industry the manipulation, the exploitation, and the way people can get taken advantage of if they aren’t careful.

This experience ignited my passion for not only succeeding myself, but for helping others navigate this challenging industry with their integrity intact.

After spending years in the trenches, I realized that knowledge is power and that the more I learned, the better I could help others. I knew I needed to formalize my expertise in music business and give myself the credentials that would allow me to serve others on a larger scale. That’s why I recently earned my certification as a Music Business Professional through Berklee College of Music, one of the most respected names in music education.

This certification was a culmination of years of hard work and dedication to mastering the business side of the industry. It wasn’t just about gaining another credential it was about continually pushing myself to grow, and equipping myself to pass along that knowledge to others, especially independent musicians who often don’t have the resources or guidance they need.

Now, with more than 20 years of industry experience, I’ve made it my mission to give back to the very people who matter most to me: independent musicians. I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it is for artists to navigate this industry on their own. The music business is full of opportunities, but it’s also full of challenges, and unfortunately, many of those challenges come in the form of people who are more than willing to take advantage of you.

It’s heart-wrenching to see talented artists struggle because they’ve been taken advantage of by bad deals, shady contracts, or industry professionals who only care about exploiting their creativity. It’s one of the main reasons I’ve made it my mission to help artists like you avoid the pitfalls I’ve witnessed, and to arm you with the tools and knowledge you need to thrive.

 

I want to help you grow your career with confidence, knowing that you’re making the best decisions for your future. Whether it’s understanding contracts, managing your brand, or learning how to navigate the complex world of royalties and publishing, I’m here to give you the guidance and support you need.

As I reflect on my journey, one thing is abundantly clear to me: none of it would have been possible without God’s guidance. Every step I’ve taken, every opportunity I’ve had, has been a gift, and I make it my goal to honor that gift by using the skills, knowledge, and passion I’ve acquired to help others.

 

My work is rooted in a deep sense of integrity and faith. I’ve learned over the years that the most important thing you can have in this industry is your character. There will be temptations to compromise, shortcuts to take, and people who will try to manipulate you. But I believe that success without integrity is no success at all. That’s why I approach everything I do with honesty, transparency, and a commitment to doing what’s right, even when it’s hard.

 

Throughout my journey, there’s one constant that has always grounded me: my faith in God. I’ve come to realize that none of my achievements no matter how big or small would have been possible without His guidance. Every step of the way, I’ve leaned on my faith to guide me through tough decisions, difficult times, and moments of uncertainty. Without God, I wouldn’t be where I am today, nor would I have the skills, gifts, and talents that have allowed me to help others.

​

This is why I keep God at the center of everything I do. Without Him, I would not be where I am today. Without His guidance and His strength, I wouldn’t have the skills, gifts, or opportunities that have allowed me to serve others in this way. Every success I’ve experienced is a testament to His faithfulness, and I dedicate all of my work to His glory. It is this faith that keeps me humble and driven to serve others. 

 

My work is rooted in a desire to give back, just as Jesus Christ gave His life for me. It is His example of selflessness, love, and service that motivates me to use my knowledge and experience for the greater good.

My journey has been long and full of lessons, but it has also been one of immense purpose. The knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career isn’t just for my benefit, it’s for yours. My goal is to equip you, the independent artist, with the knowledge and tools to succeed in this industry without falling victim to exploitation.
